I created the logo design below to promote a bowling fundraiser event for The Parkinson Council. The logo is designed to emulate the 1950′s kitschy-retro feeling.

Recently, I was commissioned to create a pencil illustration of a family homestead based upon a 19th-century photograph. The client, a representative of a famous family, asked me to remove the people and concentrate on the architecture. Here is the original photo from the 1800′s:

A year or so ago, I came across an eBay auction for black-and-white 8×10 photo of an “unknown Blaxploitation actor”. I recognized the person immediately as Jim Kelly, the martial arts star who appeared in Bruce Lee’s Enter the Dragon
